Stitch Partners was formed in 2019 by two people with extensive knowledge of advanced textiles. One of the co-founders stumbled upon this revolutionary technology sitting on a shelf in a professor's office at NC State. The technology, a knit textile with embedded conductive yarns, was proven to attract and absorb smoke in an enclosed space where venting is not an option. Knowing this same technology can deactivate the infectious capabilities of airborne viruses, Stitch Partners advanced the design so that it can be used as air filter to provide safe and clean air.  Stitch Partners patented the technology domestically and internationally.

SPAR FILTER is an ingredient for air cleaners... think "Intel Inside." Their customers are companies that make air cleaners. Stitch Partners has executed material transfer agreements with two Fortune 500 companies. These two companies are looking to develop products and/or integrate s SPAR FILTER into their current line of products. Stitch Partners is also working with a large defense contractor on possible applications for the technology.
