Stitch Partners has an exlusive license agreement with North Carolina State University for a new technology, an elctrostatically charged textile surface, that was developed in the Wilson College of Textiles. A precentage of all sales will support research at NCSU.
The Actively Charged Textile Surface (ACTS) was developed by Dr. Warren Jasper, a Professor in the Textile Engineering Chemistry and Science Department at North Carolina State University. Dr. Jasper holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Massachusetts Insitute of Technolgy and a Ph.D. from Stanford University in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
