ASHRAE, founded in 1894, is a global society advancing human well-being through sustainable technology for the built environment. Through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education, ASHRAE shapes tomorrow’s built environment today. ASHRAE was formed as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers by the merger in 1959 of American Society of Heating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHAE) founded in 1894 and The American Society of Refrigerating Engineers (ASRE) founded in 1904.

The Nation Fire Protection (NFPA) is a global self-funded nonprofit organization, established in 1896, devoted to eliminating death, injury, property and economic loss due to fire, electrical and related hazards.
NFPA delivers information and knowledge through more than 300 consensus codes and standards, research, training, education, outreach and advocacy; and by partnering with others who share an interest in furthering our mission. Our mission is to help save lives and reduce loss with information, knowledge and passion.
Stitch Partners has an exlusive license agreement with North Carolina State University for a new technology, an elctrostatically charged textile that was developed in the Wilson College of Textiles. A precentage of all Stitch Partners' revenues will support research at NCSU.

Stitch Partners partnered with scientists from Duke One Health and North Carolina State University for the RDU Impact Challenge.
Together we are working on a solution for safer and cleaner air inside airports to prevent the spread of airborne viruses such as COVID-19. Our solution with increase travelers' confidence to travel by air and remain healthy while checking in, shopping or eating in the airport, waiting for their flight, and picking up their bags in baggage claim.
Stitch Partners is working with the technical team at Manufacturing Solutions Center (MSC) on advancing FIL-TEX™ by developing new fiber combinations and twisting different yarns to create unique fibers.
Throughout the past century, textiles has been one of the major industries for North Carolina in both employment and economic impact. The textile industry created the Manufacturing Solutions Center (MSC) at Catawba Valley Community College 30 years ago. The center supports the industry by training new employees and creating new innovations which will promote prosperity in textiles for the next century. MSC is located in Conover, NC which is in the heart of the textile industry.

Duke One Health is part of Duke Global Health Institute. One Health is a worldwide strategy for advancing health care in humans, animals and the environment through communication and collaboration between mutiple disciplines with the realization that human, animal, and environmental health are all connected.
