SPAR® REMOVES AND DEACTIVATES AIRBORNE DISEASES

Breathe Safe & Healthy Air

  SPAR® INDEPENDENTLY TESTED

  • Airborne Bacteria:  Removed 99.989% from large chamber with a 99.96% reduction in viability of Staphylococcus aureus.
  • Airborne Virus: Removed 99.79% from large chamber with a 96.56 reduction in viability of MS-2, a surrogate of SARS-CoV-2.

INDEPENDENT TESTING AT CREM CO LABS

BACTERIA TESTING RESULTS

SPAR® FILTER achieved a 99.989% reduction in the viability of the bacteria, and a 99.96% reduction of airborne S. aureus bacteria trapped by the filter in a large chamber.

S. aureus has been long recognized as one of the most important bacteria to control because it causes serious diseases in humans, such as staph infections, bloodstream infections, pneumonia, and bone and joint infections.

Report available upon request.

VIRUS TESTING RESULTS

SPAR® FILTER achieved a 99.79% reduction of airborne MS-2 inside a large chamber, and a 96.56 reduction in the viability of MS-2 trapped by the filter.

MS-2 is a surrogate of SARS-CoV-2 and one of the smallest genomes, making it very difficult to capture and deactivate.

 Report available upon request.

TESTING SYSTEM

The details of the aerobiology chamber have been published (Sattar et al., 2016). The chamber (30 m3) was built to comply with the guidelines from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Details on testing protocols included in report.

INDEPENDENT TESTING AT NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY

Department of Biological Sciences

Customized testing at North Carolina State Microbiology Lab showed over 99%  deactivation of a surrogate of COVID-19 as it passed through the SPAR® filter. Experiment conducted by Dr. Frank Scholle.
